Vice President-Credit and Overseas Audit

About The Role:-
This role involves leading a team to conduct comprehensive credit audits for corporate banking units and overseas branches, ensuring adherence to audit plans, leveraging data analytics for audit efficiency, and maintaining high-quality reporting. It also includes coordinating with auditors, reviewing processes, and implementing corrective actions based on findings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading team and conducting credit audits for Corporate Bank Units, Overseas Branches and managing concurrent for these units. For the audits conducted ensuring the following
  • Audit planning, Risk Assessments for the Credit and Overseas Units
  • Leverage data analytic to increase the efficiency and efficacy of the Audits.
  • Timely commencement and closure of audits as per the audit plan
  • Preparation and submission of audit reports/synopsis within stipulated time frame.
  • Ensuring quality of audit reports, correctness / consistency of data furnished, emphasis on policies, internal guidelines, processes, practices and people, revenue assurance, risk coverage
  • Carrying out other assignments such as review of processes, thematic audits, checklists and special audits, investigations as and when required.
  • Coordination with the concurrent auditors and the internal auditors for effective monitoring and ensuring quality of concurrent audit reports.
  • Aggregation of common findings and advising the same to the controllers along with recommendations for corrective action and tracking implementation

Role Proficiencies:

  • Knowledge of Credit Functions Policies, internal guidelines, processes, practices and people, revenue assurance, risk coverage
  • Ability to carry out assignments such as review of processes, thematic audits, checklists and special audits, investigations as and when required.
  • Ability to ensure Timely commencement and closure of audits
  • Good communication (both verbal & written) and inter-personal skills
  • Strong techno functional skills, proficiency in excel and database management skills, financial and statistical analysis skills
  • Ability to manage risk and uncertainty for self and team within a dynamic priority-setting environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work as a part of team and contribute towards team goals
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.
